One of the largest banks in Tajikistan refused Mir cards

One of the largest banks in Tajikistan – Dushanbe City Bank Russia has stopped all transactions with Mir payment cards.

Bank states that this is due to technical reasons.

Dushanbe City Bank said on September 27 that “problems related to the use of Mir cards started 4 days ago.”

Before this statement of the bank USA and other Western countries have said that countries and companies that do not comply with sanctions against Moscow may face sanctions themselves.

On September 23, Uzbekistan announced that Mir payment cards issued outside the country will not work in Uzbekistan.

Nevertheless, it is still possible to use Mir cards issued in Uzbekistan itself.
