Since July of last year, the three-level tariff system, which is currently in operation, has been applied to the retail sale of natural gas.

The initial level of the three-level limit is set at 1200 cubic meters.

Limits and tariffs applied to natural gas for all population groups social applies to groups.

Ruslan Aliyev, General Director of “AzeriGas” PU, said in December of last year that those who have a house with a large square meter will “pay more for gas” because the low-tariff limit set for gas in large houses expires sooner, and such subscribers must pay for gas at high rates. they have to pay.

Natural gasof to the population How many ways are sales carried out??

Tariffs for the sale of natural gas in Azerbaijan are calculated differently for population and non-population groups.

In the country, household gas is sold to the population consumer group in two ways: by paying in advance – through smart type meters and by paying later – through mechanical meters.

Limits applied to natural gasswaggers what is?

The limit set aside for the use of natural gas sold to the population at preferential rates in the country is reset every year, regardless of whether the subscriber uses this limit or exceeds it. That is, whether a subscriber uses more than 1200 cubic meters or 2500 cubic meters during the year, his limit is reset at the beginning of the year.

Currently, the lowest limit for using natural gas at a preferential rate is 1,200 cubic meters.

AzerGas said that 30 percent of the 1,300,000 population-subscribers use up to 1,200 cubic meters of gas per year.

But independent economists believe that it is possible to exceed 1200 cubic meters in a short time in apartments heated with natural gas, especially in winter months.

This means that even those who live in small apartments have at best one per cubic meter of gas towards the end of the year 20 kopeck, if this limit has already been exceeded, he will have to pay 25 kopecks.

After that, depending on the limit used by the subscriber again, 12 per cubic meter during the year, 20 and starts paying from 25 kopecks. That is, discounted tariffs start to be recalculated for each subscriber.

Although the lower limit was raised to 2200 cubic meters in the past years, it is now 1200 cubic meters again.

How is the reset performed?

The institution later announced to BBC Azerbaijan that this process was “not required”.

“AzeriGaz” announced that the subscriber’s “365-day limit is protected” during the reset process.

The reset of the limit is “from January 10 to January 10 of the following year” every year.

“That is, we will conclude the reset that we started on January 1 this month on January 10. Next year, the reset will be completed on January 10,” AzeriGas spokesman Eldeniz Valiyev told BBC News Azerbaijan.
