Feb 8 (Reuters) – Some Twitter users were unable to tweet ahead of time on Wednesday with the message “You have exceeded the daily limit for tweeting”.
According to the outage tracking site Downdetector.com, USAAt 5:00 PM ET, Twitter was shut down for about 9,000 users. By 6 p.m., the number of outages had dropped to 2,500.
On Wednesday, Twitter’s support account said, “Twitter may not work as expected for some of you. Sorry for the trouble. We know this and we are working to fix it.”
The mistake comes as Twitter has cut staff since billionaire owner Elon Musk took over the company in October, sparking concerns that the service is running with fewer engineers. read more
