RAMALLAH, West Bank, March 25 (Reuters) – Two Israeli soldiers were wounded in a drive-by shooting by a Palestinian militant group in the occupied West Bank town of Huwara on Saturday, the military said.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) issued a statement saying that the shootings had been carried out. The military said that the suspect was being pursued.

It was the third shooting reported around Huwara in a month, raising fears in part of more violence during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which coincides with the Jewish holiday of Easter in April.
