“Report” informs that this was said by Eldar Samadov, the deputy head of the working group of the State Commission on Captives and Missing Citizens, at a briefing dedicated to the problem of missing persons in Azerbaijan.

He said that this process may take a long time: “But experienced experts have been involved in the process. We conduct analyzes on the basis of numerous appeals from our citizens.”

According to the institution’s official, the process of identification is ongoing: “DNA samples have been collected from the families of 80 percent of the missing persons. This is important for identification.”
