The Azerbaijani delegation led by the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA) Ahmed Ismayilov is on a visit to Astrakhan.

According to “Report”, issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed in the meeting with Igor Babushkin, governor of Astrakhan region.

It was noted that there have been friendly relations between the Astrakhan region and Azerbaijan for many years, for example, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev was widely celebrated in the region, humanitarian relations are actively developing, commercial and economic cooperation is being established, special attention is paid to the field of youth policy. .

The governor of Astrakhan province said that he hoped that friendly neighborly relations would continue to strengthen. Ahmad Ismayilov, in turn, thanked the governor and expressed confidence that media representatives will continue to cooperate closely.
