The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) welcomes the simultaneous passage of goods on the Aghdam-Khankendi and Lachin-Khankendi roads.

“On September 18, as a result of the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross with the participation of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shipments of food and medicine were delivered to the region from both directions at the same time. We expect uninterrupted and regular deliveries to continue,” the statement said.

The Russian MFA official is in favor of starting a dialogue between Baku and the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region, as well as the restoration of the rhythmic work on the implementation of all the provisions of the tripartite statements signed at the highest level in 2020-2022 between the leaders on the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations: “Peace in the South Caucasus and We are fully interested in maintaining stability.”
