The updated 1-manat banknotes bearing the signature of the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Tahir oghlu Kazimov, will be put into circulation from September 18, 2023.

This was reported to Banker.az by the press service of the CBA.

The signature is depicted in the upper left corner of the front of the banknote. Also, the production year “2023” is reflected on the banknote.

Other design elements and technical parameters of the updated 1-manat banknote have been kept unchanged, corresponding to the paper banknote of the same denomination currently in circulation.

The updated 1-manat banknote will be in circulation in parallel with the currently circulating banknotes of the same denomination.
