​Russian Premier League may resume in June

Russian Premier League, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, is planning to continue from June 20.

The Russian Football Union and the club officials mulled possible dates at an online meeting on Monday, Report says citing TASS.

The Union proposed two options; one is June 21, the other – June 26.

Earlier, the country postponed local leagues until May 31.

The Premier League matches were suspended on March 17 – after the 12th round.
