82,300 families in Azerbaijan receive targeted social assistance

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population paid targeted social assistance to 82,300 families (342,000 family members) in April.

Individuals representing those families can receive the money from any bank, at ATMs or post-terminals of Azerpocht without paying commissions upon getting an appropriate permit to leave the house, the ministry told Report.

Since April 1, the number of families receiving targeted social assistance increased by 12,000 families, as well as 50,000 family members.

The average monthly amount of targeted social assistance per family continues to grow, reaching AZN 223.
