AFFA appeals FIFA over 4th substation
The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has applied to FIFA for consent to hold the 4th substitution in the games of the Azerbaijan Premier League.
The head of Media and Public Relations Department of AFFA Firuz Abdulla told Report.
The representative of the National Association expressed confidence that the highest football structure would express its position in the coming days. He said the organization made such a proposal since players would not face physical difficulties.
Notably, the Azerbaijani Premier League suspended on March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The PFL has previously announced that if the country’s quarantine regime lifted on May 4, Division I will be restored on May 21 and the Premier League on May 23. However, the extension of the quarantine until May 31 allowed the ban on football to remain in force.
