Pashinyan: New COVID-19 cases hit record in Armenia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said live on Facebook that 723 people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past day in the country. Report informs citing the Armenian media.

“The situation with coronavirus infection in the country is not good. Yesterday we had a new record – 723 new cases. Six people died, 442 recovered, “the prime minister said.

Thus, the total number of cases in Armenia reached 16,004 as of June 13. The prime minister believes that the problem has gone beyond the scope of coronavirus infection.

Notably, the state of emergency introduced in Armenia from March 16 to July 13. Meetings and rallies are prohibited.
