One of Azerbaijan’s biggest tasks is to restore its territorial integrity, Fuad Chiragov, an expert of the Center for Analysis of International Relations, said at a webinar “Azerbaijan-Belarus relations in the post-pandemic period.”
“Our country faces various challenges, such as diversification of the non-oil sector, increasing exports, and so on. Besides, the status quo hinders the creation of favorable conditions for regional cooperation. Protracted conflict does not work for peoples, but for certain forces,” he mentioned.
“Bilateral relations are one of the priorities in Azerbaijan’s foreign policy. In this regard, relations with Belarus are special, aimed at comprehensive development,” said the expert.
