​ADIF pays AZN 100.4M to depositors of closed banks

On June 1-28, 2020, Azerbaijan Deposits Insurance Fund (ADIF) paid AZN 100.4 million compensation to the depositors of AGBank, Amrah Bank, Atabank, and NBC Bank, Report informs, referring to ADIF.

The compensations are paid via debit cards of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBAR) and Kapital Bank, as well as the “Khazri” express money transfer system.

According to the law on “Deposit Insurance,” the applications of depositors are received within a year, starting from the publication of a notification on payment of compensation.
