Mumbai building collapse: 10 killed

At least ten people were killed and many others rescued after a portion of a building collapsed at the Fort area of Mumbai on Thursday.  

The incident took place around 2:30 pm. Apart from 14 fire tenders, the Mumbai police and NDRF teams were involved in the rescue operations.

Debris is being cleared from a site in Mumbai’s Fort, where a portion of a building collapsed yesterday. In charge of the NDRF team working on the site, Ashish Kumar says, “Ten people have died, and three others have sustained injuries in the incident.” Rescue operation still underway.
