Yerevan: Police detain protesters demanding Pashinyan’s resignation

Thousands took to the streets in Yerevan again, demanding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation, Report informs citing TASS.

The protesters tried to block the Cabinet building’s backyard to keep government cars out, after which a scuffle began and was followed by detentions.

“Cabinet members managed to enter the building in the morning, now our goal is to keep them there until Nikol Pashinyan resigns,” said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a leading member of the opposition Dashnaktsutyun party.
