Armenian lies exposed in Italy
Numerous interviews and articles of the Azerbaijani ambassador to Italy Mammad Ahmadzade were published in the Italian media against the provocative campaign of Armenia against Azerbaijan, including absurd allegations about Azerbaijan’s holding Armenian prisoners of war and mistreatment them badly, destruction of an Armenian Christian church in the liberated territories, and the Military Trophy Park in Baku, Report informs, referring to the Azerbaijani embassy in Italy.
In response to the false claims of the Armenian ambassador to Italy against Azerbaijan, Ambassador Mammad Ahmadzade spoke on the program “ByoBlu24” on the Italian TV channel ByoBlu.
Famous Italian newspapers La Verità and Avvenire published letters of the Azerbaijani diplomat addressed to the editorial offices of some Armenian and Italian newspapers, which published provocative articles against Azerbaijan with the initiative of Italian writer of Armenian-descent Antonia Arslan.
Aci Stampa also published a letter sent by the Azerbaijani diplomat as a response to the Armenian claims about the post-war situation, which was published by the same media outlet.
Ambassador Mammad Ahmadzade’s letter was also published in the Italian news agency ANSA in connection with the press release of the Armenian embassy in Italy. Along with this, the letter of the Azerbaijani diplomat, published by ANSA, was spread by Italian Newspapers La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, Notizie Tiscali, Espansione TV, MSN Notizie and others.
Moreover, the Azerbaijani diplomat’s letter addressed to the article of the pro-Armenian journalist against our country was published in the Italian newspaper “Il Foglio”.
In his interviews and articles, the Azerbaijani diplomat spoke about Armenia’s 30-year military aggression against Azerbaijan, its policy of ethnic cleansing against more than 1 million Azerbaijanis, war crimes, and genocide committed against the Azerbaijani civilian population in both the first and the second Karabakh wars, the destruction of Azerbaijan’s historical, cultural and religious heritage.
Ahmadzade responded to Armenia’s claims about Armenian prisoners of war and the destruction of the Armenian Christian heritage, as well as the smear campaign on the Military Trophy Park in Baku. The diplomat also spoke about the steps taken by our country to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region. According to him, the peace in the region is threatened by Armenia’s revanchist and hateful policy against Azerbaijan, sending servicemen to the territory of Azerbaijan in violation of the trilateral agreement signed on November 10, refusal to hand over the maps of minefields, which cause numerous casualties.
