Hulusi Akar makes statement on Azerbaijan

“On the one hand, the Turkish Armed Forces are fighting the coronavirus pandemic, and on the other hand, are continuing to struggle with great heroism and self-sacrifice to protect the rights of our country and our friends and brothers in the north of Syria and Iraq, in Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Libya, the Eastern Mediterranean, and many other regions, as well as, to ensure regional and international security. This process is being carried out more thoughtfully and effectively than ever before,” said Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

“We resolutely fight for the security of our homeland, our lands, our 84 million citizens, and our region, especially against all threats and dangers from terrorist organizations such as FETO, PKK / YPG, and ISIS. Our struggle will continue until the last terrorist is neutralized. Operations in Syria and northern Iraq are the clearest indications of our determination to end terrorism,” he added.
