Temperature to reach 40 C in Baku
The weather will be rainless in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on August 12, Report informs, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan.
Northeast wind will be followed by the southeast wind in the daytime.
The temperature on the Absheron peninsula will be +25 – +28 C at night, +37 – +39 in the daytime, +40- +41 C in some places. In Baku, the temperature will be +26 – +28 C at night, and +38 – +40 C in the daytime.
Atmospheric pressure will be 756 mm Hg, relative humidity will make up 60-70% at night, and 35-40% during the day.
On August 11, it is expected to be mostly rainless in the regions of Azerbaijan. However, lightning and short-term rainfall are possible in some mountainous places. Mild east wind will blow.
The temperature will be +23 – +26 C at night, +36 – +41 C (42 C in some places) in the daytime. In the highlands, it will be +16 – +21 C at night, and +26 – +31 C in the daytime.
On August 11-14, hot weather will continue in the country, the maximum temperature will be +37- +40C ° in Baku and Absheron peninsula, +41-+42 C in some places, +35- +40 ° in the regions, + 42- +43 in the Nakhchivan AR and in some parts of Aran region.
