Conference League: Qarabag FK to host Cyprus

Today, Qarabag FK will play its second-leg match in the 3rd qualification round of the UEFA Conference League.

Report informs that the team from Aghdam will face AEL (Cyprus) at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium. The match to start at 20:00 local time will be refereed by FIFA’s Kristo Tohver (Estonia).

Qarabag FK sustained three losses, with defenders Badavi Huseynov, Elvin Jafarguliyev, and Rahim Mammadov missing the match due to injuries. The guest team will play without Anthony Georgiou, who contracted COVID-19.

The first match in Cyprus ended in a 1:1 draw. The winner of this pair will face the winner of the Breiðablik (Iceland) – Aberdeen (Scotland) match. The first leg between the last two teams ended with Scotland’s victory 3:2.
