Taliban host reception, dinner for foreign diplomats in Kabul
The Taliban have organized a reception and dinner for representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Kabul, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted, Report informs referring to TASS.
He posted photos and videos from the event, which was attended by Russian Ambassador Dmitry Zhirnov, heads of diplomatic missions of Pakistan and Uzbekistan – Mansoor Ahmad Khan and Yodgorhuja Shadmanov, respectively.
“The fact that you continued your work even during important political transformations shows that the security situation in Afghanistan is stable. The responsibility for this lies with the new government. We thank all the states that provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people and have declared their intention to cooperate with our Cabinet of Ministers,” said Afghan acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
He added that the Taliban leadership is ready to provide each country with all the necessary conditions “for the implementation of incomplete projects on Afghan territory.”
