Turkmen ambassador, acting Afghan foreign minister hold talks

The development of the Turkmen-Afghan partnership was discussed at a meeting in Kabul between Ambassador of Turkmenistan Hoja Ovezov and acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Amir Khan Motaqi.

Report informs that the acting Afghan foreign minister congratulated the Turkmen leadership and the people on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence. He also expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the constant humanitarian support to the Afghan people in a difficult time for them.

During the conversation, the parties stressed the need for further development of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, in order to increase trade, the expediency of organizing meetings of representatives of the business circles of the two countries and the search for new formats of economic interaction was noted.
