Transactions amount of second largest block chain up almost fivefold

The amount of transactions processed on the Ethereum network in the last 12 months has exceeded $6 trillion.

This is 4.7 times more as against last year, Report says, citing foreign media. Over the same period, the cryptocurrency exchange rate increased 9.6 times.

The second largest block chain is currently in the process of upgrading to ETH 2.0. The new version will increase the scalability of the network.
