Azerbaijan plans to work with European Union – President Aliyev

“Of course, our plans to complete a major project – the Southern Gas Corridor, are not limited to this. We see that we can become a supplier for many other members of the European Union,” Report quotes President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as saying this while accepting the credentials of the newly appointed head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, Petr Mikhalko.

“We plan to work together with the European Union to expand the geography of our supplies – especially now, in winter, when everyone sees that an alternative source in terms of an alternative route is precisely energy security,” the president added.
