“The development of relations between the legislatures and organizations of mutual visits contribute to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia. The parliaments of the two countries cooperate within a number of international organizations,” Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova told a meeting with Chairman of the Slovak National Council Boris Kollar, Report informs.

She said that biased decisions and statements, made by parliamentarians, could overshadow bilateral relations.

In particular, Sahiba Gafarova said that the resolution on the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, adopted by the Slovak parliament in November last year and the resolution “On Nagorno-Karabakh” adopted on April 1, 2021 were regrettable and unacceptable.
