Azerbaijani Speaker to attend Eurasian Women’s Forum

Azerbaijani parliamentary Speaker Sahiba Gafarova will take part in the third Eurasian Women’s Forum in St. Petersburg on October 13-15, Report informs.

The topic of the forum is “Women: A Global Mission in a New Reality”.

The forum will bring together heads of parliaments participating in the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. The chairwoman of the IPA CIS Council, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matvienko; Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova; Chairwoman of the Council of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova; Chairwoman of the Uzbek Senate Tanzila Narbayeva and other women leaders.

The forum is expected to sign a number of agreements on cooperation in various sectors.
