Azerbaijani Defense Ministry flatly denies role in Karabakh shootout

On the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, there was a shootout between illegal Armenian armed groups, Report informs with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

“First, several drunken militants of the opposite side engaged in hand-to-hand combat with other comrades. Then an explosion occurred at their location,” the message reads.

According to preliminary information, as a result of the shooting, there are dead and wounded from the opposite side.

The ministry stressed that the Azerbaijani army has nothing to do with the incident.
