Azerbaijan to succeed in opening of Zangazur corridor – president

“As you know, in Soviet times, there was no airport in Zangilan. But now there will be not only an airport, but an international one, and Zangilan will become the transport and logistics hub of our country,” President Ilham Aliyev told a meeting with a group of Zangilan residents in the district during his today’s visit, Report informs.

The president added: “The Zangazur corridor passes through this area, a railway line is being built, and the Horadiz-Agband highway is under construction. The recent developments pertaining to the opening of the Zangazur corridor show that we are achieving what we want.”
