“We welcome the conduct of the first expert-level meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani council,” Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told her weekly briefing, Report informs.
The first meeting of the expert-level council of the two countries was held in Baku on November 19-20.
“Such expert-level meetings are designed and in fact harmoniously complement diplomatic contacts with an intensive policy and reinforce official efforts aimed at finding mutually beneficial solutions to stabilize the regional situation and normalize relations between Baku and Yerevan. This is an extremely important process. We consider it important to lead the issue towards the launch of a trilateral expert dialogue Russia-Azerbaijan-Armenia,” Maria Zakharova concluded.
