Tunnel construction starts on Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agband highway

The construction of the Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agband highway (Zangazur corridor), laid on October 26 by the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, continues at a rapid pace. Report informs, citing the State Agency for Highways of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, the project envisages the construction of three motor tunnels with a total length of 6 km on the new road. The tunnels will be called T1, T2, and T3.

It is planned to build 2 viaducts and 23 road bridges, 8 interchanges, 50 underground passages, 5 ground crossings on the Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agband highway with a length of 123.8 kilometers.
