Penitentiary Service on state of health of jailed ex-head of Gadabay District

The Penitentiary Service of the Justice Ministry has disseminated information about the state of health of convict Saleh Rustamov, Report informs, citing the agency’s report.

“Some social networks have published untrue information about the state of health of convict Saleh Rustamov. In this regard, we declare that the former head of the Gadabay District executive authorities, S. Rustamov, who is currently in the medical institution of the Penitentiary Service, is under constant medical supervision due to his refusal to take food and is involved in supportive medical procedures. Conditions have been created for Rustamov to regularly meet his lawyer and communicate with close relatives by phone.”
