Russian FM: Maintaining regular contacts between Azerbaijani, Armenian leaders vital

We consider it important for the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia to continue regular contacts, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told her weekly briefing, Report informs.

Zakharova noted that Russia welcomes any efforts aimed at normalizing the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

“We expect that following the meeting of the leaders of the two states, which is scheduled for December 15 in Brussels, the commitment to the implementation of the trilateral agreements will be reaffirmed,” the Russian Foreign Ministry official said.
