WHO: No cases of omicron strain recorded in Azerbaijan

A delegation led by the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan and the head of the office, Hande Harmanci, visited Ganja.

As Report‘s western bureau informs, Hande Harmanci said that she considers the work done in Ganja in the fight against COVID-19 worthy.

She also spoke about the new strains of the COVID-19 virus.

In remarks on an increase in cases of infection with the Delta-M and Omicron strains among children and adolescents aged 5 to 14, Hande Harmanci also noted that no infections with the Omicron strain were recorded in Azerbaijan.
