Azerbaijani, Russian FMs discuss implementation of trilateral statements

Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov have held a phone conversation, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The ministers exchanged views on the current situation in the region and the implementation of trilateral statements.

The sides reviewed the latest developments in the region. They shared their views on the inaugural meeting of the 3 + 3 consultation mechanism, as well as the meeting of representatives of the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities in Moscow.

The ministers also discussed topical issues of the bilateral relations agenda and other matters of mutual interest.

During the telephone conversation, the ministers congratulated each other on the occasion of the New Year.
