US State Secretary, Kazakh foreign minister discuss situation

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed with Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi the situation in the republic, Report informs, citing the US Department of State.

The United States supports constitutional institutions and media freedoms, Blinken said and called for a peaceful settlement of the situation in the country.

In addition, the US Secretary of State discussed with the Kazakh foreign minister the importance of promoting stability in Europe, including the situation in Ukraine.
