Jeyhun Bayramov discusses regional security issues with British minister

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Chris Heaton-Harris, Minister of State for Europe of the UK.

During the telephone conversation, the sides exchanged views on the successful development of multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK.

Regional security issues, including the implementation of trilateral statements, were discussed by the parties. Referring to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year, the ministers stressed the importance of holding joint events in this regard.

The parties also stressed the importance of mutual visits in this regard.

During the telephone conversation, the sides exchanged views on Azerbaijan’s chairmanship and implementation of the priorities of the chairmanship of the OSCE Security Cooperation Forum, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
