Over 80 men on wanted list extradited to Azerbaijan

Over the past three years, more than 80 wanted persons have been extradited to Azerbaijan, the press service of the Justice Ministry told Report.

Last year, an internationally wanted man was detained in Poland on charges under Article 126.1 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm). His extradition was agreed as a result of negotiations between the Justice Ministry and the Polish authorities as well as owing to the effective cooperation between the two countries. The man in question was extradited to Azerbaijan through Turkey and was handed over to the investigation.

To recap, following the effective cooperation, over the past three years, more than 80 wanted criminals have been extradited to Azerbaijan, the report added.
