FM: Hungarian companies ready to participate in Karabakh’s restoration

Hungarian companies are ready to participate in projects to restore the infrastructure of the liberated Azerbaijani territories, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference following a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Report informs.

He said that Azerbaijan and Hungary are interested in strengthening bilateral cooperation, noting that the trade turnover between the two countries has been growing in recent years.

The number of Hungarian companies that see opportunities to invest in Azerbaijan increases, he added.

“We respect the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and are ready to participate in the restoration of the liberated territories,” he noted.

According to the minister, Hungarian companies are ready to participate in projects to restore the infrastructure of Karabakh and supply equipment for the production of alternative energy sources.
