Age ban on Hajj pilgrimage – Some conditions have been announced

This year, people over the age of 65 will not be able to perform Hajj from Azerbaijan.

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Fuad Nurullayev said.

He added that, Unlike previous years, this year foreign citizens will not be able to go to Hajj from Azerbaijan: “Anyone who is an Azerbaijani citizen can go on pilgrimage. The visit is intended only for Azerbaijani citizens. Citizens of other countries will not be able to leave us. In previous years, it was possible for foreigners to visit Azerbaijan. This will not be the case this year.

Let me note at the same time that, Citizens under the age of 65 will be able to visit. Those over the age of 65 will not be allowed.

Let `s note that, This year, pilgrims from Azerbaijan have been allowed to perform Hajj. 2020No one from Azerbaijan visited this country in 2021 due to the pandemic.
