Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Emil Salimov was called up for military service despite his illness.
According to Salimov, he has health problems, and this has been repeatedly reflected in the opinions of the medical commission.
He stressed that he has had a military ID since 2010 (he is 30 years old) and it says “limited usefulness” due to heart problems. This time they called early and checked my heart. Although the disease was always detected, this time they released him healthy. “
According to Salimov, he underwent all medical examinations yesterday, June 13, after working hours at the hospital: “This process took place in hospital No. 5, not in the polyclinic where I am registered. Employees of the Nasimi District Office of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription arrived at 6 o’clock in the evening and took him to the hospital. Of course, there were no doctors because the working hours were over.
According to Salimov, emergency doctors were called: “Within half an hour, they examined me and took me to the medical commission of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription in their cars. On the way, I was given a conscription without a final opinion. In one room of the office, five doctors asked a few questions and gave a final opinion that I was healthy without the device.
A member of the Popular Front Party told doctors that the problem was not only in the heart, but also in the stomach and spine: “I was diagnosed with acute gastritis and live on a diet. There is a problem with the spine. I am also receiving treatment for a neurological problem. But they did not hear it. “
He believes that all these processes are related to his political activities: “If I were healthy, I have no intention to avoid military service. I will not run away now. However, despite these diseases, my military service is political. ”
So far, it has not been possible to learn the attitude of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription and other relevant officials.
