His family cannot find out the whereabouts of Fariz Aliyev, who is protesting
On June 17, Fariz Aliyev held a one-man rally in front of the Ministry of Justice. In this way, he expressed support for the hunger strike of the movement’s chairman Taleh Bagirzade and other religious prisoners. “Fikret Mammadov, do not be indifferent to the fate of the people!” shouted the slogan. After that, officers of the Post Patrol Service forcibly put him in a police car and drove him away.
His family says they have not been able to obtain any information from Fariz Aliyev since then.
The Interior Ministry’s press service declined to comment on Fariz Aliyev.
