“Legal steps will be taken regarding Siraceddin Guluzade”
On July 16 in social networks Recruitment of teachers (MIQ) competition exam claims were made regarding the pre-distribution of test tasks used in mathematics.
Azerbaijan Republic Education Institute (ARTI) is investigating the issue announced.
In the statement of the institution, it is stated that in the claims, the three questions used in the mathematics subject exam held on July 14 were explained to some candidates in video format:
“ARTI orders subject specialists to prepare original questions for inclusion in the test bank in accordance with international practice. A confidentiality agreement is concluded with the authors of the questions to protect the confidentiality of the questions (or their analogues), not to share them with a third party, and not to conduct preparation in this direction in training centers by the authors.”
As a result of the investigation, it was found that one of the involved authors, Siraceddin Guluzadeh, violated the terms of the confidentiality agreement signed with him, and submitted the original test tasks he handed over to ARTI to the test bank of one of the teacher training centers.
These questions were used for discussion among the many questions during the video lesson broadcast by that preparation center before the exam.
The allegation that the three questions used in the mathematics subject exam held on July 14 (submitted by S. Guluzade to the MQ question bank) were explained to some candidates in video format before the exam was confirmed.
“Since he grossly violated the terms of the service contract, appropriate legal steps will be taken in relation to Sirajeddin Guluzade. Currently MORE of this event exam conducts a scientific-statistical analysis regarding the effects on the results. The public will be informed in detail about the decision on the final results,” the agency said.
On July 14, the test examination stage of the competition for the recruitment of teachers for the 2022-2023 academic year began in Azerbaijan.
On July 14, more than 8,000 candidates were invited for mathematics, physical education, German and French.
For this year, more than 9000 vacancies have been presented for the Ministry of Education.
54,745 candidates are scheduled to participate in the competition within 7 days of the country 10 15 in total, including different cities exam will be organized in the center.
At the test stage of the competition, general to each candidate in his specialty education 40 questions related to the subject programs of their institutions, teaching methodology and training strategies 20 question is presented.
Unlike previous years, this year candidates will be given 120 minutes to answer the test tasks.
At this stage, correctly answered test tasks for the specialty will be counted as 2 points, and for teaching methods and training strategies, 1 point.
In general 10A 0-point evaluation system will be applied. Also, according to the new rules, incorrectly answered test questions will affect the exam result.
1 wrongly answered question will be calculated as -0.5 points for the specialty, and -0.25 points for the teaching methodology.
