“Abu-Bakr” is returned – the mosque will operate under a new name

Restoration and strengthening works will be carried out in the “Abu-Bakr” mosque located on Ulvi Bunyadzade Street, Narimanov District of Baku.

Currently, the restoration and strengthening works of the mosque, which started last year, are continuing.

So that, Baku City Execution Belonging to the authority “Baku “City-Based Construction and Repair” LLC has announced a new tender for the preparation of project estimate documents for restoration and strengthening works.

According to the tender, restoration and strengthening works will be started in the place of worship as a continuation of the works currently being carried out. After all the works are completed, the mosque will operate under the name of “Friday Mosque”. It is not yet known when the cases will be concluded.

It should be noted that last year, a purchase contract worth 2,881,728 thousand manats was signed for the restoration and strengthening of the mosque. According to information, the works carried out for that amount are about to be completed. (Report)
