Among personal hygiene products, there is an increase in the price of more synthetic detergents, soaps and toothpastes, dishwashing liquids, and antiperspirants. The price of some products, especially dishwashing liquid and soaps, has doubled.
Economist expert Natig Jafarli said that To Azerbaijan non-food products, especially household chemicals and personal hygiene products, are mainly imported. In this area Azerbaijan domestic production is almost non-existent:

In the foreign market, the price of non-food products, especially household chemicals and personal hygiene products, has increased sharply. Because these products are brought to the country at a high price, they are also sold at a high price in markets.”
