Inflation in the Eurozone may reach record levels
The index of consumer price growth in the Eurozone may reach a record level.
It is noted that in August 2022, compared to August 2021, inflation could reach a record 9.1%.
The preliminary calculations in this regard were published in “Eurostat” on August 31.
It is reported that this indicator was 8.9% in July, which is the historical maximum.
By categories prices more energy carriers (38.3% – but less than July’s figure of 39.6%), food, alcohol and tobacco (10.6%) has become more expensive for its products.
