2500 people will live in Shusha from the end of next year

“People who will return home will live in a comfortable inclusive city. We want those people to feel that they belong to these places, to feel that they belong.”

This Azerbaijan President’s special representative in Shusha district Aydin Karimov said.

He said that another major issue ahead is jobs, jobs should be provided for residents returning to Shusha, and we are taking this into account:

“From the end of 2023, the relocation of residents to Shusha will begin, and initially 2,500 residents are planned to return. As you know, Shusha is different, it has limited economic potential, it has more cultural and touristic potential. That’s why we want to know the expectations, working conditions, etc. of our residents who will return to their homes. we take into account. These issues are reflected in the master plan.”
