The President of Azerbaijan went to Kazakhstan from Kyrgyzstan
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev On October 12, he went to Kazakhstan on business trip did. He will participate in the 6th meeting of the Council on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of State.
Leaders of 11 countries will hold the 6th meeting of the Asian Cooperation and Confidence Building Measures Conference in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. There Russia President Vladimir Putin and Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s meeting is also expected.
On October 13, the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS will be held in Kazakhstan. A day later, this institution should have a meeting of the Council of Heads of State.
Kazakhstan has been chairing the CIS since 2022.
The CIS was established in 1991 with the fall of the USSR. Apart from Georgia and the Baltic countries, the former USSR republics are represented there.
Azerbaijan The President visited Kyrgyzstan on October 11 and 12. I. Aliyev, who met with the head of state of Kyrgyzstan, discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries.
