More than 200 protesters were convicted in one province

Iran In the central province of Alborz, the judiciary reported that 201 people were convicted for participating in protests against the government.

Chief judge of the province Hussein Fazili Harikandi said on October 24 that those convicted are “main and active agents” because social they called people to protest in the media.

Although he did not say how many people were detained, he said that two-thirds of those detained have already been released on bail. This means the detention of more than 600 protesters.
