The US test-fired a ‘very powerful non-nuclear weapon’

Hypersonic hovercraft are launched in the upper atmosphere and from there they are sent to the target at a speed of 6200 kilometers per hour, five times the speed of sound.

The American military tested the components of the hypersonic weapon on October 26.

The Pentagon called the test of supersonic missiles “successful”.

A rocket was launched from NASA’s marine launch pad in Virginia to conduct dozens of experiments.

During the test, the operation of the communication and navigation equipment of the hypersonic weapon was checked, as well as the heat resistance of the coating materials in a “real hypersonic environment”.

Hypersonic devices floating in the air were launched in the upper layers of the atmosphere, and from there they were sent to the target at a speed five times faster than sound, 6200 kilometers per hour.

The Pentagon has developed a new missile based on the prototype of a meteorological missile.

A response to Moscow’s threats

Thus, the Pentagon tested the components of a long-range non-nuclear weapon for a global strike.

USA and competing countries have increased the pace of development of hypersonic weapons in recent years.

These are considered next generation weapons. These weapons leave no chance for the enemy to respond to the blow by traditional methods.

It is also emphasized that USAThe development of these weapons in , is considered a response to the creation of hypersonic weapons in Russia and threats from Moscow.
