A patient was wrongly diagnosed in one of the private clinics in Baku.

30-year-old Rashad Jabiyev was told that he has squamous epithelial carcinoma, medium differentiation, that is, mouth cancer.

The patient’s doctor at the hospital, Sahin Osmanov, refused to comment on the incident.

Lawyer Gunay Jafarli drew attention to the legal aspects of the issue.

The Ministry of Health said that in order to clarify the diagnosis of the citizen, it is advisable to conduct a re-examination in a specialized medical institution according to the profile of the Ministry of Health:

“This is also possible based on the citizen’s official application to the Ministry of Health. After that, relevant measures can be taken in accordance with the results obtained.”
